Cool Toilet

Dale finished putting in the toilet and sink in our downstairs bathroom this morning and we are glad that it is in and working.  After lunch DL and BL went downstairs to play and they asked thier dad if they could use the toilet down there and he said yes.  I was upstairs in the kitchen and could hear the two of them downstairs playing and this is what I heard:

BL: I have to go to the bathroom.

DL: Okay.

-silence and then I can hear the water running so I know that she has flushed the toilet.

BL: That was sooo cool using that toilet!!!  That toilet is sooo cool!!

Now you all may be wondering -what kind of toilet do they have?- Well, sorry to disapoint you all but it is just a normal toilet, just like the other two in our house that she uses many times during the day but never is as excited to use them.  If only we could always get excited over the little things in life!

Pinky sweater

This morning DL and BL were talking about the movies they wanted to watch and DL is always wanting to watch Star Wars so he is always trying new ways to get BL to watch them with him.  So this morning he said something to her about her giving a pinky swear so that she would watch the movie with him.  BL got a very puzzled look on her face and said, but I don’t have a pinky sweater!  She is so funny!

Ear full of Corn

Tonight we had corn with our dinner and we were all done eating except for TL and BL.  We were in a big hurry to go to DL’s ball game and I was feeding SL his dinner.  I hear TL say to BL, My dinner is in my ear!  Sure enough he had put a piece of corn in his ear and pushed it pretty far in there.  I had to get it out very carefully with tweezers.  Earlier today at lunch I had to ask him to stop putting ramen noodles up his nose!  Only a couple more weeks of the terrible two’s with him, what is three going to be like?
